In Persusance of this policy Punjab Government Allowed the opening B.Ed College in the state under the financing Scheme.Distgrict Gurdapur is well know is educationally quite backward.In Gurdaspur District Shahpur Kandi area of Dhar Sub-Division in pathankot is particulary in need of upliftment of educational backwardness.Keeping this in view Jai Dai Sheelawanti Educational and Welfare Society ,Pathankot.Under the president of Sh Ravti Raman,an aminent educationalist and social worker opened up and educational institute at village Kot,on the Ranjeet Sagar Dam Shahpur Kandi Township road at distance of 15 km from pathankot.The building is situated in a spacious 5 acre land in the lap of nature .It is fringed by shivalik Hills,On One side the River Ravi adds grace and luster to the scene and males the environment tranquil and celestial
